BEFORE THE SERVICE
8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., the annual Mother's Day Breakfast is offered by the Jr. YBA in the Annex Hall. Mothers are free; others asked to buy ticket. Some walk-ins allowed, although supplies are limited.
The following events take place in our Hondo (main hall) on the top floor of the main building, unless otherwise stated.

10:00 a.m. Starts with Kansho (the Calling Bell)

and Arturo will give the Adult Dharma Talk

COMING NEXT
FRIDAY, May 16, at 10 a.m. in the Hondo or main hall, there will be a short Gomeinichi service conducted by a member of our ministerial staff. Most months we offer this service to remember and share our gratitude for our founder, Shinran Shonin.
SATURDAY, May 17, will be the next SHUKATSU (End-of-Life Planning) Seminar at 3:00 p.m. This session will cover funeral planning and preplanning. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 14 to info@btsd.net or call the temple at 619-239-0896. You can also sign up in the office. Space is limited.
ALSO SATURDAY, May 17, will be a special Dharma Talk at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room on the Office level of our main building. Visiting guest speaker, Rev. John Iwohara, of the Gardena Buddhist Church. will share insights about our founder, Shinran Shonin. The event is expected to last 89 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
