Register through Temple
The Temple office will log all registrations to forward to the conference organizers. Please call or email or write the Temple to secure a spot and so you can receive a login for the conference.
Paying Registration Fee
Please write checks to BTSD and mail them to the Temple, or call the Temple for other payment options. We accept Credit Card payments over the phone with enough notice so one of the members of the Treasurers Committee can handle the transaction.
Note: The Temple will be consolidating fees to send a single check to the conference organizers.
Deadline
Please register by Sunday, Sept. 20.
Schedule
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for members of chapters of the Buddhist Women’s Association and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for all other attendees.
Guest Speaker
Rev. Yuika Hasebe is currently a Kaikyoshi minister with the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii. She is from Hoshiji Temple in Toyama, Japan and received Tokudo Ordination in 2004 and Kyoshi in 2007. She graduated from Ryukoku University in 2007 and was assigned as Kaikyoshi minister to the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii and served as associate minister of Hawaii Betsuin from 2008-2009 and again from 2014 to present. She served at the Hilo Betsuin from 2009-2013.
初瀬部 唯可 師
初瀬部 唯可先生は、ハワイ教団の開教使です。先生の出身は富山 県で自坊は宝性寺です。得度を2004年に教師を2007年に取得され、 開教使になられました。先生は、2007年度に龍谷大学を卒業され、 その後、ハワイに赴任されました。最初の赴任先はハワイ別院で、 2008年から2009年度まで、そして、2014年度から今日までハワイ 別院に駐在されておられます。先生は、2009年から2013年度までヒ ロ別院にも駐在されておられます。

Your Personal Invitation
The Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Betsuin and Southern District Buddhist Women’s Association invites all Southern District temple and BWA members to the 2020 Southern District and SDBWA Conference on Saturday October 3, 2020. The opening service is also the Bishop’s Memorial Service for Southern District.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this conference is being held online. Log in instructions will be e-mailed to all registrants prior to the event.
