Rev. Laverne with Comforting Dharma, July 9

Rev. Laverne Shidou Imori welcome you to our Temple for comforting Dharma and as we remember loved ones who passed away in the months of July and August.

SCHEDULE

Optional Chanting Practice: 9:15 a.m. in the Hondo. All are welcome.
10:00 a.m. Ringing of the Kansho or Calling Bell welcomes all. Welcome by Service Chair, ritual and messages with Rev. Laverne, including the names of loved ones who passed away in July and August over the years.
11:00 a.m. (approximate) Yukari Williams, Certified Minister’s Assistant, will present the Japanese Howa or Dharma message. English speaking Sangha are excused for dance practice or hospitality.
11:15 a.m. (approximate) Follwoing the service, there will be Bon Odori rehearsal in our Annex Hall.

OUR HELPFUL SANGHA

Musical accompaniment will be from Ann Ong, organist. Chairing the Service will be the Cheeks Family (Ric, Angela, and Flynn). Assisting in the livestream are Breven Honda, Ken Muraoka, and Bill Teague.
