10:00 a.m. Service in the Hondo

  • Rev. Laverne Imori, Officiant.

  • Nancy Martinez will chair the service.

  • Rev. Laverne will give the Children's Dharma Talk and the Adult Dharma Talk.

  • Ann Ong will be the musical accompanist

The livestream is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The service is expected to end around 11:30 a.m.

For any guests with questions, our MA will remain in the Hondo for your convenience.

• Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve service (Joya E) at the Temple. With Rev. Maribeth Smith. Ring the Temple Bell and enjoy toshikoshi soba.

• Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 11:30 p.m., New Year’s Eve Bell-Ringing (Joya no Kane) at Shelter Island. With Rev. Smitty.

2025 is the Year of the Snake — Oue New Year’s Party is Jan. 19 following Ho-Onko.

• Wednesday, Jan. 1, 10 a.m. New Year’s Day Service, or Shusho-E. With Rev. Laverne.

• Sunday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. Family Dharma Service, Shotsuki Hoyo (monthly memorial). Dharma leader TBA. Thereafter, Sunday Services will resume on a weekly basis through at least July and likely through August.
