More Options Than You Might Think

We know some of you like to shop, and we have several options for you to check out below.

White Elephant Crafts and Treasures Shop. Enter from the parking lot level, this shop is in Room 5, with everything from designer purses to hand-made jewelry, along with shirts and dresses. crafts supplies, Hawaiian "stuffs", art, and more!

Plant Sale. While stock varies based on donations, we usually have plumeria, bromeliads, and more. Often these sales are set up near Room 5 on the parking lot level.

 
 

Silent Auction. Located in the Sangha Hall, up a slight ramp from the parking lot, this air-conditioned room has everything to bid on from Japanese fine art and exquisite ceramics, to gift cards for great restaurants, to exciting themed gift baskets, to nights at Resort Casinos in nearby Las Vegas and Laughlin. Theatre lovers will find tickets from San Diego’s great theatre scene; the Auction includes admissions to , most major museums in Balboa Park. There are also family packs to popular venues in San Diego County.

TIP: Final bids are requested before the end of the Bazaar at 4 p.m. Ask at the Auction or listen for the last notice on the P.A. system.

 
 

Information Booth. Here are some free and some books for sale, along with some religious items like Buddhist Beads. The Information Booth is on the ground level, usually along the west side of our Hondo or main hall. The booth also has order forms for “Aloha” T-shirts, with sales directly benefitting the Lahaina Buddhist Temple, burned to the ground along with other properties on Maui.

 
 

Bakery and Strawberry Mochi. Many delicious treats will be available for sale at our Bakery tables located on the second floor of our Annex Hall.

Tip: Baked goods sell out early, especially our Strawberry mochi, with each mochi having a delicious fresh strawberry inside.


Bon Again Asian Resale Shop. We apologize that the shop will not be here at the Bazaar this year. But it will be taking over the Sangha Hall for our Obon observance and Bon Odori on Saturday, August 3. More information will follow in our newsletter and our website.
