on the top floor, unless otherwise stated.

FAMILY DHARMA SERVICES & JANUARY BIRTHDAYS

  •  9:00 a.m. Chanting Practice in the Hondo. Optional. New members welcome. Note that we usually practice Shoshinge, a chant as written by Shinran Shonin. It will be good practice for the Ho-Onko service on Sunday, Jan. 19.

  • 10:00 a.m. Service in the Hondo        

The service is expected to end around 11:30 a.m.
 For any guests with questions, Bill Teague will remain in the Hondo for your convenience.

Hospitality is just one floor down from the Hondo, 
in the Dining Room on the Office Level.

HO-ONKO WEEKEND JAN. 18 & 19

We welcome Rev. Yukari Torii, Resident Minister of the
San Fernando Hongwanji Buddhist Temple,
to help us observe our Shinran Shonin Memorial at two events:

  • Saturday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sangha Hall

  • Sunday, January 19 at 9 a.m. to practice chanting Shoshinge, following the Ho-Onko (Shinran Memorial) service at 10 a.m. 

CORRECTION: There will be no January Gomeinichi Service on Thursday, the 16th.
