Enjoy Service at the Temple. If you are able to attend in person, you will want to make your reservation by midnight on Saturday, April 23. Reservations are required to attend.

If all goes according to plan, the image and link for the livestream will appear in first position on the BTSD Channel’s page shortly before 10 a.m. Just click on the link. No password or additional action is required.
About the Service. Leading the service will be Rev. Laverne Imori, who will read the Shotuski names for April. Kaytee Sumida , Minister’s Assistant, will be service chair. Yukari Williams, Minister’s Assistant, will provide the Japanese language Howa or Dharma Message.
Covid Precautions. As before, you must be masked to enter the Temple and attent the service. However, the Reopening Committee will restore Service Books to the pews for your convenience. The service books will have remained unused for a week or more and are not considered to increase your risk through surface germs.
ALSO: Introduction to Buddhism (Buddhism 101) will resume as a live, on-site class preceding Sunday’s service, starting at 9 a.m. in the small, one-story Sangha Hall on the property. The class allows for many questions to be answered and will briefly cover Buddhism from its founder to the present day. Temple etiquette will also be reviewed. The class will be led by Bill Teague, Minister’s Assistant.
