Ukraine Donation Drive

Monetary and in kind donations going to impacted communities

Our Ukraine Donation Drive ended on April 25th 2022. We received $450 in monetary donations. Our temple recently sent a check to the Buddhist Churches of America’s Social Welfare Fund. These monetary donations will then be forwarded to UNICEF’s Ukraine Relief Fund, which ensures that Ukraine’s children have access to safe water, nutrition, health care, education, and protection.

Generous temple members also made donations in kind, and thanks to them we made a delivery of Tylenol, Theraflu, bandages, and other medical aid items to House of Ukraine at Balboa Park. A few cold weather military jackets, boots, belts, and gloves were also donated.

As the situation in Ukraine remains unresolved there is an ongoing need of medical aid products and other items. House of Ukraine volunteers are now receiving all in kind donations at a warehouse in El Cajon. Please visit the House of Ukraine website for more details if you wish to support them going forward.
