'Wheel of Dharma' Pictures of BTSD Bon Odori

How great to see so many colorful Bon Odori photos in the Wheel of Dharma, with three great photos from the BTSD event.

The San Diego photos are only several out of a lovely collection of color photos published in the September issue of Wheel of Dharma. These were published as part of a front-page article, “In-Person Obon Festivals Return Throughout BCA,” by Wheel of Dharma editor Jan Kawamoto. Read the full article in this PDF of the September issue. It celebrates the return of Bon Odori events to the Obon observances of many BCA temples coming out of the pandemic.

San Diego’s event is pictured along with the Odori from BCA temples in Fairfax, VA (Ekoji), Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Venice, CA.
