Intro to Buddhism In Person, at Temple
WIth Kaytee Sumida, Minister’s Assistant
On the last Sunday of each month, we offer a live, in-person intro to Buddhism at 9 a.m., usually in our one-stor.oy Sangha Hall.
Minister’s Assistant Kaytee Sumida provides a one-hour survey of Buddhism from its early days in India and Nepal, with stops in China, Korea, and Japan, and how our sect got its start in San Diego in 1926. She also has time for your questions in this informal introduction.
Most sessions attendees can experience a live service in our Hondo or main hall.
The course is designed for those who want to understand Buddhism and explore it further. It is especially convenient for visitors to the Temple and students in a World Religions course.
