DHARMA AND FELLOWSHIP
SUNDAY @ 10 A.M.

JOIN US to observe Shinran Shonin’s birthday in Gotan-E and to remember and express our gratitude to loved ones who passed away in May, in our monthly memorial, Shotsuki Hoyo. Gotan-E is a major service in our tradition, and we are especially grateful that we can welcome back Rev. Gregory Gibbs, our Supervising Minister. to San Diego to oversee this important event.

Rev. Gibbs, travelling from the Pasadena Buddhist Temple, will officiate, read the Shotsuki names, and provide the Dharma messages for young and old. Nancy Martinez, Dharma School Superintendent, will chair the service.

Schedule

10:00 a.m. Ringing of the Kansho or calling bell to begin the service.
10:40 a.m. Dharma School students excused to individual classes. Adults will remain for the remainder of the service and the Adult Dharma message.
Around 11:30 a.m., we welcome you to hospitality, which provides light refreshments, in our dining room, on the Office Level.
