Winner’s Tip: Buy your tickets early in the day for best chances to win door prizes: first drawing is at 12 noon. Tickets which win door prizes are returned to the raffle for the top prizes shown above. You must be present to win the door prize; all other pries do not require your attendance. The drawing takes palce at approximately 4:15 after the close of the other parts of the Bazaar.

Our 2024 Bazaar is looking to be our best yet!
On Sunday, June 2, for five brief hours, our gates are open to fun, games, performances, prizes, great food, and our exclusive silent auction. The event starts at 11 a.m. and booths close at 4 p.m.
Fun for the whole family! We’ll be posting more information soon, but here is an overview.

Admission
Free as always, young and old.
Free Entertainment and Cultural Displays
Taiko, Intro to Buddhism/Temple Tour, Koto, Marital Arts, Sumi-e (Ink-Brush Painting), Shamisen, Hula, traditional folk music, and more.
Goshiso (Delicious) Food
Sushi; meat and vegetarian tacos; teriyaki chicken dinners; chow mein with pan-fried noodles; tofu salad; and more.
Bakery Items
Cookies, pies cake, and mochi sweets with peanut butter, an (sweet bean), and strawberry filling. Best place also to find hot coffee.
Games for the Kids
Tickets are cheap, everyone wins a prize.

Back in full force this year, in the Sangha Hall, with more high value donations than ever.

We expect to have card readers at the Ticket Booth, White Elephant Shop, Silent Auction, and Beer Garden.
Parking — Please Plan Ahead
Parking is an issue as we use our own parking lot for the Bazaar activities. Plan ahead to park on nearby streets. Note: Some businesses on Market Street (but not all) allow you to park in their parking spaces. We will update parking details soon.
Our Mission: The Buddhist Temple of San Diego aims to be a spiritual, cultural, and educational resource to the community. Our Bazaar allows us to share our culture and fulfill our mission.
