Asylum Seeker Donation Drive 2021

The Dana Group will be running a donation drive in support of Minority Humanitarian Foundation, a non-profit that works to ensure asylum-seekers and refugees a successful transition into the U.S.

This organization helps refugees and asylum seekers as they are released by ICE. In many cases these individuals are left out on the street with no idea where to go. MHF volunteers pick them up, provide clothing, temporary shelter or immediate transportation to the airport for the flight that will take them to their sponsors.

During the month of September our temple will be gathering the following items:

  • Diapers (all sizes)

  • Wipes

  • Baby formula

  • Men’s underwear (new, all sizes)

  • Men’s clothing (small, new or gently used)

  • Coloring books

Donations can be left at temple and a delivery to Minority Humanitarian Foundation will be scheduled early in October. For any questions please email Arturo Rubio at artrubio@gmail.com.
