November 14: San Diego's Karma Lekshe Tsomo in Free Online Dharma from Hawaii
I’m Not Okay but That’s Okay: Finding a Middle Way
Wisdom and Practice from Three Spiritual Traditions
BDK Hawaii and the Fujitani Interfaith Program at Chaminade University of Honolulu present “I’m Not Okay but That’s Okay: Finding a Middle Way.” a program on Buddhist Dharma meant for our challenging times.
Staying Grounded. The organizers describe the program as “wisdom and practices from three spiritual traditions on how to stay grounded, especially during this Covid-19 time.”
When. The event takes place Saturday, November 14, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
Where. The event is hosted in Honolulu but has been shared with temples in the Buddhist Churches of America and elsewhere.
Local Interest. While all three speakers are distinguished, many of us in San Diego have heard Dharma messages from Karma Lekshe Tsomo, who is based in San Diego between periods of travel. Professor Tsomo (University of San Diego) is nun, scholar, and activist of international reputation. She has shared the Dharma numerous times at our temple, the Dharma Bums Temple, and other venues in San Diego .
