Intro to Buddhism and Questions Answered as Needed
Intro to Buddhism and Buddhism Zero Presented on Your Schedule
We are now offering our two popular programs to fit your schedule.
These programs may be especially useful to visitors new to our Temple, people with questions about Buddhism, and students on assignment to learn more about another religion.
Intro to Buddhism is an hour-long prsentation with a brief history of Buddhism in the world, key aspects of our Shin tradition (Jodo Shinshu), and temple etiquette. The class is most often hosted by Minister’s Assistant Kaytee Sumida.
Buddhism Zero is an open-ended question session for individuals at any point in their spiritual journey. The session is often hosted by Minister’s Assistant Bill Teague.
In-Person or Via Zoom
Either session can be presented in-person or via Zoom, depending on your schedule and the Temple’s schedule.
