Fall Ohigan
for Young and Old
Rev. Laverne Imori welcomes us to observe our Fall Ohigan service, in which we contemplate a life in balance, inspired by the autumnual equinox, and the “other shore” of enlightenment. Our service chair is the Ric Cheeks family. Sharon Sasaki, Certified Minister’s Assistant, will be sharing the talk for Dharma School Students, and Bill Teague, Certified Minister’s Assistant, for adults.
SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE
9:15 a.m. for Chanting Practice (optional).
10:00 a.m. Kansho (Calling Bell) welcomes you to the Fall Ohigan Service.
Ritual and Dharma School message.
10:30 a.m. (approximate) Dharma School students and teachers excused to classes.
Ritual and Adult Dharma message.
11:15 a.m. (approximate) Hospitality: Following the service, there will be light refreshments in our Dining Hall on the Office Level.
The Keiro Kai luncheon, honoring our seniors, will start at 12 noon.
