SCHEDULE and SERVICE COMPONENTS
At 9:00 a.m. in the Hondo, you are welcome to attend Chanting Group Practice (new members welcome).
Prior to the ringing of the Bell, individuals may offer incense.
10:00 a.m. Kansho (Calling Bell) calls us to service.
Kaytee welcomes us all with opening comments.
Rev. Smitty leads us in ritual.
Bill shares the Dharma School message.
The Dharma School will be excused to classes.
Rev. Smitty shares the Adult Dharma Talk.
Rev. Imori will share closing comments and remind us to offer incense.
Trishia will provide the music.
NOTE: The Ministers Assistants will remain after the service to answer any questions.

In the Annex Hall, please join us for the San Diego Premiere of the short film, A Profound Silence, to be followed by a sponsored (free) lunch, and a discussion moderated by Rev. Smitty with our special guests, members of Ichi-Mi from the Gardena Buddhist Church.

On Sunday, parents are welcome to escort younger kids to a Dharma School activity during the film if they wish, to be reunited for lunch, and again with the Dharma School activity for the discussion. Learn more here.
