Please help us welcome Rev. Ungyo Lynn Sugiyama on Saturday, when Rev. Sugiyama will share insights into the Wasan of Shinran Shonin. The Wasan are a kind of hymn, written in colloquial Japanese in which Shinran celebrates his appreciation for the Pure Land teachings. Shinran started writing such Wasan at the age of 76, and created several collections.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Off-street parking is provided in our Temple parking lot.
