9:00 a.m. Chanting Practice - Hondo (Main Hall). Rev. Laverne Imori will lead, and we hope you will join us. New participants are welcome.

9:00 a.m. Intro to Buddhism - Conference Room. With Kaytee Sumida, Minister’s Assistant.

Schedule

  • Kansho (Calling Bell) calls us to service.

  • Ann welcomes us all with opening comments.

  • Rev. Smitty will lead us in ritual and offer the Adult Dharma Talk.

  • Ann will offer closing comments and invite us to offer incense.

  • Trishia will provide the musical accompaniment.

Services typically end 11:15 to 11:30 a.m.

The Officiant or Dharma Leader will remain after the service to answer your questions.

HOSPITALITY

Following the service, please join us for light refreshments in the Dining Room on the Office Level.

Note: We will not have a service on Sunday, June 2 (Japanese Cultural Bazaar) or Sunday, June 16 (Temple Father’s Day Picnic).

Please come volunteer for a shift — you can sign up at the Office or call. Many different kinds of jobs are available, not just on Sunday, but some on Friday and Saturday for preparation.
